Real-time Call Control
The RingCentral Office Call Controller lets you manage your calls and other communications through a single desktop application. This is included for free in the RingCentral Office plan. Everything you need to do with your RingCentral Office account can be done here. From taking calls to changing callforwarding settings, everything is accessible through the Call Controller.
Whenever there is an incoming call, the caller ID is displayed in the Call Controller. This lets you decide on whether to take, reject or send the call to voicemail. You can also have the auto-attendant to ask callers to speak their names or purpose of calling on the phone, and you can listen through your computer speakers. You can also listen in as callers leave voicemail messages, so that you can pick up the call immediately if you decide that it is an important one.
The RingCentral Office real time call control has been helping me with important business calls. Since I can identify every incoming call through the desktop application Call Controller, I can prepare myself in advance for what a call can be about. For example, I can simply open a document in my computer before answering an incoming call from a client. This way, I am able to project a professional image, helping me establish contacts and maintain them through time. Also, depending on the caller ID or my current situation, I can decide whether to take, reject or send the call to voicemail. The RingCentral Call Controller also lets me identify every incoming call even if the number is not included in my phonebook. I can have the auto-attendant ask callers to state their name and purpose of calling. This way, I am able to actively update my contacts database, and get as many customers and clients that I can.
Make it yours! Photo studio
With the RingCentral Call Controller, a photographer who is typically in front of the computer checking images and editing them can have a convenient way of managing calls. Every incoming call from any customer can be identified, giving time to prepare whatever needs to be readied, such as photos, receipts and status reports.
