Even with extensions and call routing, there would still be times when you wouldn’t be able to attend to all incoming calls. RingCentral comes with voicemail to make sure that even when you are not able to answer a call, you can return it by letting callers leave voicemail messages to your RingCentral number. Each extension is equipped with its own voicemail box which can be accessed through the Call Controller. A list of all voicemails can be viewed there, and you can select any voicemail to listen to it. When you don’t have access to the Internet, you can listen to your voicemails through any phone that is accessible to you. You get SMS and email alerts whenever a voicemail arrives in your mailbox. With RingCentral, calls to local numbers to listen to or leave are free of charge.
With voicemail, I get to receive all orders and requests. Especially during peak season such as Christmas and Thanksgiving, orders through the phone just flow in, and even with extensions in all our branches, not all calls are answered immediately. For customers who cannot wait until their calls are answered, they have the option to just leave a message in the voicemail. I check the voicemail box through whatever way easiest to me, such as online or through my cell phone. With voicemail, I get to list all potential orders and get back to callers to confirm their orders, so that no cake or pastry goes to waste.
